    This is my garage layout.
This all started for me in October when I decided to go and buy a scalextric kit which led to me buy 4 more used sets locally. I am a HUGE racing freak. Whether its the real thing, slot cars, rc cars and sim racing.

The current layout is 5' x 10' which will probably end up being bigger in the future but this will do for now for us. A few of us have gotten together to do some league racing to have some fun. Right now the table is on wheels so we can move it around in case I need the garage to work on the car. I am gearing up a system to pull it up to the ceiling and the legs fold up.

We laid down carpet underlay on the table to keep from picking up small wood chips and it actually be vacuumed. The walls I vinyled and we added small decals to the walls. Soon I will be starting to do buildings and scenery stuff. The plan is to have everything movable so its easy when we decide to change the layout.

Currently I have the RMS system, and just changed the software to the YASCART program. I was unhappy with the scalextric program. It worked fine at first but became very glitchy and the text was rather small. YASCART is so much better.

Ill post more pictures as I complete more for it

You’re off to a good start. I’m on the other side of the GTA maybe we can get together for some laps sometime in the future

Looks like a nice layout. It doesn't take much space to have fun.

Well we changed it up a bit. Decided to build a 4 Lane High Banked Oval

Wanted to do some billboards around the turns but needed some way to attach them to the track,
I used just plain old bristol board for the signage and paper straws to attach to the rails. However the rail mounts I had were too far away from the track and wouldnt work with the straws so I took two styles of rail mounts and modified it to work how I wanted it and 3D Printed a ton of them.

We needed to come up with something to hold the lanes together as they were separating with 4 cars winging around. Well we all know how scarce they are and Lou gave me a suggestion about trying Rapesco paper clips. With a little modifying they worked great.

Another upgrade we all did was we all purchased Professor Motor Controllers and added the brake module, Man what a difference from the old style scaley controllers. One of the best investments yet.

Also build myself a 4 Bay Pit Garage out of foam bristol board. Worked Great and 3D Printed some toolboxes. Got 3 more garages cut up and ready to assemble, I will post pictures of it later.

A couple of us did some testing and this Friday will be our first race night on it. Should be a tone of fun.
