  • New Carrera Wing Warrior set

They are calling it "Motordom Racer". Looks like a great set to start oval racing to me

Now that's the kind of set I would buy. $200? That would be very good value.

      This is a neat set!
I also like the box art, its shows the two set cars and all the cars following are previous Carrera releases

I like the banked turns! Ohh, wait... The picture and description text don't add up! The picture shows banked turns. The description text says 1/60 Curves (20571)
        Which is it? lol

Such a cool set. I almost want to buy that for my kids. It reminds me of my first set which was the Carrera banked oval Winged Warriors set, 15-20 years ago. Interesting it has crossovers in it? Wondering if you can set it up as a standard oval or can only set it up as a tri-oval?

I believe the crossovers are the same size as standard straight track

Dingleberry you're correct the crossovers are standard Carrrera straight length.

Really cool looking cars and graphics on the box are cool but the R1 banked turns are a bit of a problem for a lot of other cars. OK for a starter set but not much useful track included towards a larger layout for later.

Unless I'm looking at it wrong,it could be set up as a long oval......

I agree. You should be able to make Bristol with the set.

Had to pull the trigger on this one. Two incredible cars and the track as a bonus. This will be fun this winter.

Ordered this set from Carreraslots.com. They also gave me a veteran/military service discount and quotes on shipping to my FPO address. Bought my first set from them a few years back. Great service. I will post a short review of the set when it arrives.
The new location has a dedicated hobby room and a tatami room that will host the slot car track.

we got the set in,cool deal..
The curves are R2 banked curves. Not the stated R1 curves..
It will make a 4x9 oval. The set has no guard rails..
I like the set.Bought ours form the same place that Chris did.
Checked with my buddy Brian, but showed out of stock..

Man I forgot all about that lucrative review salary bonus..Shame on me......
This set makes a bigger track then I thought. The table shown is about 9 1/2 feet long.I still have two extra straights..
Nice set, cars look perfect to my eyes.We made some temporary guardrails.Cars run like magnet Carrera cars do.
Sweet and fast.Wife is racing with me .Needless to say she is driving Marty's car..
I will be removing the mags and adding a variable power supply.
This is all for my taste of racing though. We will also move the crossovers towards each end to change the driving line..
The set functions well and would be a great set for someone starting out,
or a 60 year old kid like me..The thrill and smell of that new car set does it every time...
