Camaro sportsman

Built a brass rod chassis for an old school Camaro sportsman.
Using a new Predator 17.5K motor, Pro-Track wheels, Urethane tires,
JK guide tongue, HR motor bracket, 9:27 gears, don't know where the guide is from.
(found in my parts drawer)



Resin cast of an early year Camaro. I used yellow pigment in the resin, so no painting the body.
styrene roll cage, resin driver on .060 styrene card, home-printed decals on clear media with a coat of floor wax.

Looks great Dave. Where do you get the Pro Track wheels? They are perfect for the Sportsman cars.

I contacted a guy named Robert Herman ([email protected] .com). I bought a couple hundred pairs of 1/2" wide Daytona Stocker wheels
without tires. Paul Gage 22160 tires fit very well, although the combination results in a tad bit shorter piece.
I sent pictures of what I build to help facilitate the transaction.
Keep in mind I use 1/8 inch axles

Thanks Mark. I don't mind if they have 1/8" axles, they can always be sleeved for 3/32 if needed.
