I thought I'd try my hand once again at building some identical brass chassis & cars & make them available to forum members
who don't or can't do brass builds.
I planned for 2 vintage Trans-Am type cars or oval sportsman racers with some Dremel work & wider wheels/tires.
I had these 2 kits laying around. Both have approximately identical wheelbases.
I made a mold of each & cast a couple resin bodies.
Well ........... after building a couple simple narrow chassis for 3/32 axles, I found I didn't have the wheels or tires needed to fit inside the fenders.
............(I use 1/8 axles)..................
I got out the heat gun to "gently" stretch the fenders a bit for a little bigger rubber.
Unfortunately I got a bit carried away & wound up selfishly building a Mustang sportsman for myself
As it turns out I just can't bring myself to build 2 things the same.........!

.........................I built a similar, but different, 3/64 brass rod chassis with WRP guide tongue & SCC motor bracket.
Parma guide, Big Mama braid. Piranha motor, Pro-Track wheels & home cast urethane tires..................................

After stretching the rear quarters & adding front flares I got the body to fit.
Painted with Ace Hardware yellow rattle can & home printed decals..(On some really crappy paper)
Proly will peel the decals off later & do a better job in the future.

.................................THe End: Brew
P.S. I think I'll make these 2 chassis available to Harry to hand out at the Showdown
