  • Glue Question

In my never ending search for the ideal glue for windshields, the guys at the local Hobby Town store recommended “Plastic-Cure” made by Bob Smith Industies and bottled with a HobbyTown label when I asked for canopy glue. Product info says it won’t craze most clear plastic. Anyone have experience with this product? It is a 10-20 sec. CA glue. Please don’t discuss other recommendations as this is a well beaten topic. I searched the new and Old Forum and didn’t run across this one. I will try it on some spare clear parts before using it on a car build, but just wondered if anyone has used it before

Yes we sell it and it does seem to work fine. The only time I have had an issue with it was when I used it on some headlight covers, apparently if the off gases get trapped it will also fog up the clear plastic.

This IS the stuff. But if the glass has large tabs for mounting, E6000 works too.
    Working...
