Seem to run okay on our temporary Carrera oval we set up to test them. Nothing to judge them by/with. The true test will be when Harry and Company gets their mitts on them! Definitely not a Concours contender, hence the turd. But the more I look at the WarBird, the more I like it!

Can say it IS growing on me. Not used to building or having a slot car that looks a total wreck. But this is after all a Sportsman Fairground stocker, and they were certainly not Showroom cars by any means. Bangers and brawlers is more like it!

So, what exactly happened with the paint job? It looks like Junior and the boys had too much to drink and decided to put an M80 firecracker under a container of black paint while it was sitting on the right front fender. If it's a runner it won't matter at all, but if it's a slug it might get the nickname 'Bird-droppings'.
