Looks like the Camero was not getting the most out of the PG tires. Lots of slipping and sliding, as it failed in its attempt.

Surprised and delighted to win a Scalextric Cougar from HRW and the guys at SCC. A super shop that went out of their way to find me 40 feet of braid when I used up my first order from them. So a big thank you and shout out to a shop most of us could not live without. Their braid roller made a great mandrel for shaping sheet aluminum into guard rails.

I think this event is a great idea, and I hope many more take the challenge. Most of us need a diversion right now, and the building of a car is one way of doing that. The rest of us can then have another diversion when we watch Harry’s presentation videos. I encourage all to build a car and send it in.

I am working hard to get mine done. Should be in mail Monday. Congrats Dan in your effort. He is hard to beat. You did a real nice job on that car. I like the chassis.
