  • HRW Brass-AM Open Invitational

OK, we did this a few years back and though why not do it again?

Not really a proxy. Just a one on one challenge as models come in.

Here is a page for the guidelines IF you want to build to match up against mine.

Hey folks! We are jumping on this bandwagon! Anyone who wishes to build a car for the BrassAm, and is willing to make a few adjustments, pay for shipping to and from WER, we will include your car in our race. We are running this series in our regular rotation for 2021. Attached is our Rules & Reg’s, and a race calendar. BrassAm Dates are highlighted in red. Feel free to hit me up about any info needed or an address to send to. Thanks!

As we only have 6 BrassAm races on the docket for 2021, 12 spots will be available. 2 for each Race-day. So if you want in, please reserve your spot. You may only enter one race! Myself and another racer will run your car against the rest of our group. Cars must be received 2 weeks prior to scheduled race. Let us know and will add your name here to this list. Good luck!
Note Motor Spec change to Predator 18k motors!

I'm in. I'll build one to these specs as well. Don't want to clean up on all the trophys, but sounds like fun!

Looks like fun! Does it have to be a car that ran in T/A or could it be something that could of ran in T/A?

For MY personal race the list is fine. No lexan though as stated.

For the WAR entry...that's different. You use his rules.

I left the Cougar off the list intentionally. Scaley makes that and I have one. I would like to build a car that no one else is racing, but given the list of cars and the lack of //32 models available for unusual cars that is unlikely to happen.
And yes, I would run a Corvair if I could find one and it would be sponsored by Ralph Nader.

Good one. Are you thinking of building an HRW car or a WER car, or both?

              They both look appealing

I'm more than likely gonna get in on this, its just gonna take time gathering things up back home when I go back to start creating something!! I have all the resources back home so I'm planning on building something up eventually!!

Here is the Challenger I did 4 years ago.

Different design approach because I always seem to try new methods. I just used the JK Motor Plate used for side/anglewinder and cut the tab off.

Wrong motor in this one and I no longer have the car. Just showing the build for reference.

Wrong motor in this one too! Have to finish the inserts for the rear wheels yet.

Love it, that Cougar looks sooo good! Always loved the Scaley Cougar, but with stock chassis they just couldn't keep up with any of the other TransAms they produced. Should handle like a dream with the brass.

You know I will enter this Harry. I will be running a Camaro. Busy with my new track, so this car won’t see a chassis for a bit, but once I get the first pine tree planted I will take some time and cobble up a car.

                        Cheers
