  • Nice visit with "new guy" Tom E today

Met Tom a few weeks back. He is down Springfield way and since I was down there, he graciously invited me over.

I like the track. TOO MANY get hung up on things and can't see the simple fun right in front of them. This track brings back memories. Just a simple setup and he is "off to the races"

I had to bring my Beach racer to see how it went against his new Ford. I tell ya...I got work to do boys!

Nothing wrong with that track at all. Gotta start somewhere. That does look like the old track layout you started with Harry, good stuff.

Yeah it sure brings me back Mike.

Bodies are 1/25th scale. AMT. Not sure what 1/32 you are referring to. The ones in the back are both a Mark Thomas resin mold.

I'm a big believer in tracks that are not crazy wild and hard to drive. I always think a track that is easier to drive makes much better racing. On those less complicated tracks, cars can run side by side for a lot of laps. Tweaking the voltage to each lane so cars run the same lap times really makes it close.
