Wiring Questions and Track Update.

It’s been awhile since my last update. Today I finally installed all Lane Gates and each were tested per instructions. Took all the taps that were installed before and reinstalled them to new locations because of the Lane Gates. Yes, I triple checked and even taped the wires so I can identify which one is the outside and inside lane. Also, I Received a new Tek-Slot, and the old one is working fine after I reset the device per the developer instructions.

Now, before I turn on the CU, is there a way I can check to make sure I have everything wired correctly? Lane Gates worked with the CU before I installed them to the track, just worried about the taps and the Lane Gates. Any ideas on how to test before I turn on the CU? I was thinking testing sections at a time?

Once I turn on and test everything, it is elevation time, track paint, and scenery.

One last thing, I’m going to name the track after my mother-in-law who is no longer with us. When I was taking down my routed track, I found the book she gave me on how to do scenery under the track. It was like she was there with me at that moment. I will use her initials ABK, just don’t know the second part. Raceway maybe?

I did one last wire check, turned the CU on, and everything worked, no “Danger Will Robinson, Danger” from the CU. Checked all the Lane Gates, they are working. Also, I did do the modification to the lane Gates so they work well with Tek-Slot. I can finally move on to elevation and scenery.

Latest/last change. Nice flow, but now I have to add the shoulders and add maybe two more power taps. I have some good space for some scenery. Always liked a town in a track layout

Scatman, Your track layout is just the way I like them; nice and twisty. Nice size too. Thank you for posting the pics.

Looks nice! I would've made turns 14 and 15 a large banked curve so that you can full trigger for about 3-4 seconds before slowing down at turn 1!

It's looks like a fast track. I also like the table addition to the track to accommodate layout. If you can't fit what you want on the existing table add more table.

Thanks for the comments. I was hoping for positive reviews, because I hate taking the track apart. Now, I have to wait for some outside shoulders so I can put everything together. The addition/extension helped open up the curve in turn 3 area into the new section, which is also fairly quick getting out of that area. Elevation will add a lot to the rhythm/flow

I like it Tony. Now if you would PLEASE post some pics of your Scaleauto car in the Cars Converted forum. I know a few people (me too) have asked about the home series cars in the past but no one has ever posted pics of a conversion.
