  • Running both analog and digital on the same track

I know this has been covered in the past but can't find the info in my initial searches. Where can I find information on how to wire my Carrera Digital track to also run in analog mode. I'm aware of the system with the chipped lanes, but I'm looking for the information on how to hard wire it using traditional analog controllers. Another question I have is will I be able to use my Professor Motor adjustable power supply to run both systems? Does Ed or anyone else have info on how to do this?
    Thanks!

Their are a few ways to do this but it has to be perfect. Hopefully someone will post a wiring diagram. My self I would have 2 separate systems' One power pack for analog and one for the digital. When either is used the other would be unplugged.

Jamie I know it's on the old forum in the digital section but I don't have the time now to go through everything.

I will get sticky thread(s) up on digital to analog switching and the dual use lane chipping box - was thinking separate topics for those since whenever I have had this discussion there is always a confusion between the two methods.

That is a GOOD idea, since the setups and benefits are totally different between the two. That way people can decide which one suits them best.

Appreciate the time you are putting into this Ed
