RMR Fall Round 5 @ Mugello

Hey guys,

With the T2.0 jetting off to tropical locales, we're shifting his round back to Mugello.

With the switch and given the technical nature of Mugello, we're swapping in NASCAR for Fly Trucks.

So what that means is round 5 classes will be:
1. F1
2. NASCAR*
3. IMSA

As a result - the round 7 classes to be raced at Aldorado will instead be: *Fly Trucks, Fly Classics and Group 5.

We interrupt our regularly scheduled race report for a flash business report. Superglue stocks have skyrocketed by the end of RMR race day as few cars are left in one piece and the tracks been destroyed.

Welcome racefans to the regularly schedualed David Vs Goliath also known as round 5. Our venue has changed as Tom 2 was unexpectedly sent back in time to warn Sarah Conner about impending doom. He'll be back.........next race. So we are back to the oldest course in RMR's line up full of hairpins and hills, squeeze lanes and chicanes the one the only Mugello.

First up was 1970's F1. Its start out like a lovely Sunday cruise. Tom's finally figured out how to keep his wheels to himself.....superglue. By super glue i mean his wheel was superglued to his car. Is this legal, i made a call to our rules department but apparently

While the wheels stayed on his car THIS TIME the car was unfortunately not long for this world and quickly broke down. You could say the car was a real....drag. It was quickly replaced with a blast from the past a Lotus with 9 lives. It rattled around the course with a wine caught somewhere between a super bike and a thousands tortured souls in hell. With a hope that this poor cars pain would finally end a spectacular crash ensued. TTT just clipped AArons tire sending the car flying a few feet in the air. A crash a smash, a quick marshaled hand but the lotus pushed threw. The car sounded broke its sounded run threw but the laps times where no joke and first place was due. In second was B-Rad. That is right he just shows up after all this time and smashes us out of no where.....must be the beard. 3rd was landed by the man with no hands as 4th fell to our Hero.

Somehow in the middle of the carnage B-Rad and his pretty blue car managed to make it look good. From sources i've heard the car is very close to closing a car underwear modeling contract with Saxx underwear

In the end Aaron won the award for the most guard rails taken out in a single race. TTT took advantage of home track taking a solid 1st. Our Hero was close behind in 2nd and B-Rad and his beard slid into 3rd with more rumors his car took a shoe modeling contract.

IMSA was the last round of the day. With a hasty fix job on the track the solution to the mass crashes of NACAR past was add more power. Stop racing Kleenex boxes and grab something with some jam. Right at the beginning of the heat the Mugello crew made a pact to finally stay out of each others way. I did take a picture but its blurry so isn't legally binding. Either way they drove like gentlemen. Well ok TTT's C7 drove like it just had Indian food and the closest working bathroom was home. It ran over everyone and everything getting within 0.05 of the track record. TTT after his car come back down from orbit took home 1st. B-Rad and his crazy Audi took second. I don't remember this car being this fast but then again i have a very short .....................oooooo its a candy. Our Hero came in 3rd with his EVO and AAron in 4th with the slick mean green machine

So how did our story end. Well our Hero did not beat Goliath. I'm not even sure our Hero is our Hero anymore but B-Rads beard vs Goliath just doesn't have the same ring to it. Also when you type in Car and Underwear into the internet this happens
One day we hope someone will be brave enough to take down TTT. To end the tyrannical rain of the Corvette C7. Oh where is our Hero the one that can save us all.
TTT takes Gold B-Rad takes Silver Shadow takes Bronze and AAron the guard rail killer takes 4th. Good night race fans and good luck getting that car underwear pic out of your head.

So how did our story end. Well our Hero did not beat Goliath. I'm not even sure our Hero is our Hero anymore but B-Rads beard vs Goliath just doesn't have the same ring to it. Some closing thoughts....the story of the day had to be the Beard coming out of retirement to lay down the smack. No wonder he was first ballot hall of famer. Rust what rust? Rumor has it that Fly Boy went for a spray tan of Rustoleum pre race...nothing like a healthy glow!



AA-Ron and Triple T will be out of commission for the last few Fall season races....should make for an interesting dash for the cash, especially with Aldorado and its lengthy, but speedy laps ...waiting ominously in the finale.
