I thought I was a good cook!

I made a pot of mild chili earlier. Took a couple strip steaks and trimmed and cubed them. Put them in a bag with seasonings and will grill them on skewers tomorrow. I'll add a foil bag of potatoes and onions in butter to the grill and that will be our dinner. Watching IU/Ohio State now, some Nascar stuff later. Nascar is not what it used to be but they are at Daytona.

It is cold, but I'll get a 2 mile walk in. Might even finish mounting a Tuesday Nite Crasher stock car I been working on. Black and gold 65 Chevy. Not a great body but it comes from a guy in Oz for $4. It is good enough to wreck!!!!

Most of my guys have got one or both of their covid shots and we hope by April to actually race again. We'll mask up, but hopefully all have a pretty good immunity.

I wish I could do that. I just pulled a tree off my house (a real favorite tree, too -a gorgeous hemlock) Now that's done, I still can't go do slot car stuff, since the whole shop building is hovering around 30 degrees. I think I'll go bake some bread. Then eat all of it.

Ohio Valley has mostly dodged a bullet with ice, snow and freezing rain. We got 2 days of being shut in, but no trees down and main roads were cleared 2nd day. Supposed to be more coming tonite, but mostly we haven't been hit hard. You guys be careful where the ice is everywhere.

Learning about airbrushing - specifically differences between airbrushes - and differences between manufacturers of paints. I have a nice wish list put together that should set me up for quite a good while and allow me to paint some stellar bodies. Here's looking to the future! Now I just need the cash to buy it all... 😂

I’ll be resting from being stuck in this thing. Might mess around with the 3D printer for my 3D Group 7 proxy car and work on a new (to me) analog track. It looks like we’ll be getting another 9”to 14” early Monday into Tuesday.
