    Happy New Year to all. We all have had the most challenging year. I feel no need to elaborate.

      Believe it or not even with all this COVID-19 crazy stuff I’m still waiting for life to slow down so I can spend more time on my obsession I mean hobby

              Hadn't thought of that, but yes why not? I'm watching TV in the mancave with Shelby-Hendrix Speedway only a few feet away. Which car should welcome in the New Year? Probably a replica of something Shelby built - maybe the Ford GT40 driven by Ken Miles.

                    The New Year is here - 2021. So far so good.

                    Ken Miles in the #98 Ford GT40 warmed Shelby-Hendrix Speedway up just before midnight, but David Pearson jumped in the Shelby Racing Mustang and turned in the last lap of 2020. Ken Miles went back out and turned in the first lap of 2021. Ken being Ken was a little bit of a lead foot and got his car sideways in the turn at the end of the back straight. It was quickly righted and he turned in a few more laps before heading to the pit area for some refreshments.

                      Happy New Year everyone. Hoping for everyone and their families to be healthy this year and to have life go back to normal eventually this year (hopefully). Personally looking forward to the next three days off!
