The Cowbell Epoch, addendum

In the first round of cowbell humor on HRW, the esteemed Kurt Moser (see Harry's HRW Cowbell Mustangish review), was both the innovator and victim of the epithet. I decided to celebrate his birthday with this monster. Yes, that is a 2 pound steel cowbell, yes those are 14 wheels under it, and yes, it ran- fairly well, actually. The hardest thing about the build was getting 14 wheels to make equal contact on the setup block.

Can we see the chassis? What did you power this vehicle with? I've always considered a cell phone to be nothing more than an electronic cowbell.

I looked and looked, and finally found this. I completely forgot that I took this photo.

It was a bit top heavy, so it went into the turns rather slow, but fast enough that it clanked. A twisty chicane was more than anyone could stand. By the last twist, the driver would be laughing so hard he'd dump it over on its side. This thing was such a party, I almost hated to send it off to Kurt (El Secundo Magnifico Supremo).
