  • Petty Museum

Have been on vacation in North Carolina this past week visiting with my father-in-law.

Seen some cool stuff.... NC Zoo, Mount Morrow lookout, etc
Earlier today, we went to the Petty Museum. Gotta say, anytime one is in the area, it's definitely worth the time to stop in.

They have 2 buildings that you can view cars and memorabilia of their past, and whilst walking between the 2 buildings, out comes the King himself. He was definitely in a hurry to get to another building, but stop to let me take this pic....

I went to the Petty Museum back in the late 90s. It was a lot of fun.

That place is very cool, and I'm sure there has been so much added to it since my 1996 visit! I told my then fiance (now my Ex! ), "if I pull up here and see that old house with those four white squared off porch columns, I'm gonna lose it!" Needless to say... I lost it! Enjoy! -- Ernie
