  • Saturday Dinner

I made Southern fried cabbage this afternoon. Just finished a big helping and I’m full. I hadn’t made it in a while. Also made fresh coleslaw with sweet oil and vinegar dressing. That’s some good eats.

Harry haven’t quite figured out how to post pics from the iPhone to the forum.

War Eagle, that looks very tasty. I’ll make a sausage, egg and cheese muffin for breakfast tomorrow.

Just a question , did you use bacon grease to fry up the cabbage ? It will give it a very good flavor .

I didn’t have any bacon and I was too lazy to go to the grocery store so I used some ham I had on hand. It wasn’t quite as tasty but it was still good. I normally use bacon but only half of the grease and all the meat.
