Thanks Mr. Brew, I hope I remember to turn it on. It should be a good race.

Sprint cars are insanely fast - I plan to watch.

Anyone remember when ESPN used to air "Thursday Night Thunder'?

That was when I got to see the legendary Rich Vogler racing. USAC sprints and midgets mostly on asphalt if I remember correctly. Lots of races from Indianapolis Speedway Park. Wish there was something to fill the void since ESPN stopped carrying these races and the SPEED channel went away.

I always liked the midgets at Ventura. Thunder was a must watch every week. I'm lucky to live an hour from Williams Grove so I can get a live winged sprint fix whenever needed.

I attended a big block modified race at Williams Grove once, I think it was a Super Dirt Series event. Didn't get down that way often but also attended a race at Susquehanna when the DIRT cars were in the area. A favorite race weekend was going to Big Diamond on Friday, Grandview on Saturday, and Penn National on Sunday. Saved all my vacation time for summer 3 day weekends at the races in my popup camper.

I think the Lernerville show is late models.
