A moment of silence for our dear friend Bill Plude. Proud to call him a friend, hero and patriot. RIP. Bill was one helluva model builder too. He won the National build off in the early 60’s. Got all my Ninco track from him, and one of the largest 1/43 collections on the planet, which I sent to Rico in Toronto. Then it was he who graduated me to 1/32, 7 years ago. Since he got out of the slot car/ model hobby, he moved onto Lego’s. Crazy stuff he was building out of those blocks! I’ll miss our almost weekly calls. And of course our banter about him being a Marine, me being NAVY, and how he wouldn’t have got anywhere without us toting him around, boy he would give it to me good. We will all miss you Bill. RIP and smooth sailing.
