    Car themed Micro-Brewey -North of Chicago

    We visited this relatively new micro-brewery/restaurant on Saturday, Well worth the drive. From what they guys at the front desk were telling us, the owner has a collection of 86 cars and rotates them in and out. The current theme was red white and blue. Good beer and good food.

          Is that a new location? I've been to a Double Clutch Brewing Company, but it wasn't in a Western suburb. It was about a mile west of Northwestern.

            It is the same one, in Evanston. I think my signature “Western burbs of Chicago” caused the confusion.

            Crap, I was hoping there was a new one further north and west of Chicago. Evanston is a pretty crappy drive from Wisconsin. We happened to stop there on the way back from looking at a car I was interested in buying. Cool place with some really nice cars.

          There was a local McDonald's on Woodward Ave (Royal Oak, Mi area) that would feature a car inside the dining area by the front window. You'd see it as you drove by.

          A vintage vehicle....changed every couple months...to tie into Woodward's rich cruising history of the 1950's and 1960's.

          Not sure they do it any more as I heard "guests" where tossing french fries and other bits of McDonald's inside the car.
