I think it would add to the experience we all share at HRW if we all put our first name and our location in the profile or at the bottom of our posts. I like to know who I am talking to and what part of the country they live in. Just an idea.

I have always signed my posts with my full name, and I have always been puzzled by how rare that is. It seems a bit paranoid that folks feel it necessary, or at least expected, to hide behind a pseudonym.

Older people, like me, can remember who & where a few of the pseudonyms are, but not all of them. I would find names & locations posted somewhere in a post to be helpful. Good suggestion Matt B.

          Why not.

          Ron Keeney

Just moved from old digs in Manchaca (far South Austin), Tx to Northwest Austin due to my daughters divorce.

Once all moved in, I will be finally building my bucket list 1 /32 1-mile 3 lane RC slot car track using plastic DMXSlots track pieces along with DMXSlots car chassis adapted to 2.4 Ghz radio frequency radio control to allow lane changing anywhere on the track at will for a field of 8- a dozen or more RC slot cars.

It would also help members find other members that are close to them to maybe see if they want to come over and race. Bill Shea Framingham Massachusetts

Here's how I put my name and address in all my posts.

                Go to "Live HRW Forums"
Upper righthand corner I clicked on my "Username"
                Then I clicked "User Settings"
On the Tap at the top click "Account"
Scroll down to "Conversation Detail Options"
                Click "Show Signatures"
Then click "Edit Post Signatures" and type in your information.

Only because I fell asleep the first nine times. lol
Believe it or not (and I know you won't) my little pea-brain did figure it out all by myself, only because I couldn't figure out how to find a how-to-video. lol

The video tutorials are cleverly hidden in the (wait for it...) "Forum Video Tutorials". No doubt the forum title confused you. Maybe next time we'll post it in Mandarin Chinese so you can find it...

Well duh, apparently no one else could find it either until you told all of us it was there and posted a link to it. : )
Tell the truth Steve, you made the video after I told you how to do it. lol
