First one to get away from me this year. Will probably feed it to the deer as far away from the garden as I can get. A good balance of rain and sun this year and best of all the tomatoes have begun to ripen!

Yep. Over the years, we have had 3 pound zucchinis, insane cucumbers, and dozens of cantaloupes from two vines, all the result of oddball seasons. Watch out for the tomatoes this year, some folks have been surprised by great tomatoes that go bad a day after they mature. By the way, Fried Green Tomatoes are the food of the gods...
