STL files for bodies and chassis somewhere ?

Hi,

I'm the owner of a FDM printer wich can print in PLA and ABS plastic, I'm wondering if there is a stl files listing somewhere of (free or pay) cars and chassis models to print ? thank you !

There are several chassis / guide / interior options up on Thingiverse.

I see that the Master of The Files has contacted you already......

I wouldn't trust a 3DP guide in a proxy...unless it was Nylon.

For a guide, I would trust an ABS fine printing, personaly.

Well....all I can offer is my experience.
I print in PLA at 100% infill and have only broken a guide in two situations: a rider going full speed into the wall at the end of a 15ft straight, and when used with a chassis with insufficient rotation.

If they break in other situations it's generally a printing flaw that can be fixed in the settings, usually. I did have a bad batch do that once (I print 6 at a time).

But that's why printed guides are encouraged but not required in the 3 DP proxy.
