  • Full 1/32 driver mods

The driver I originally had was from a pilot figure, so his arms were down in his lap. I played around with TinkerCad and got him to raise his arms. They aren't perfect, you can see were the arm was "cut" and repositioned, but they work for me.
    From the left
The original figure with a modern full helmet based on the Stearman pilot
The 2nd on has his arms raised at the elbows. You can see the seam at his elbow
    ModernDrv-Open-Elbow.stl
The 3rd on has his arms raised at the shoulders, hands are slightly further apart
    ModernDrv-Open-Arms.stl
The 4nd on has his arms raised at the elbows and I added a steering wheel
    ModernDrv-Open-Steering.stl

A full 1/32 driver for slot cars. I started with the Stearman pilot and combined with helmets/heads I found here using TinkerCAD. Full helmet with shield Full helmet without shield Open face helmet Cylon, just because... Will update as I update

Nice one, I suppose you could always dremel his hands apart and force a steer wheel in. If you resin print these they're still soft before curing.

Those look great! I may have to ask one of you with access to a printer if you could do a little printing of those for me!

That is the great thing with 3d printing, you can easily resize them to any scale. Increase the size by 133% and you have a 1/24th scale driver.
