I'm printing the Chevron download from Vlad.
5 hours into the print the raft is starting to come loose from the bed.
I don't want to stop the print as it doesn't look too bad.
How do I keep the raft on the bed? That sounds funny when you say it.

Can't you Pause the print and apply some hairspray or something?

Frank, sounds like you need to abort and restart. What plate are you using? A coating of hairspray will keep the next one down tight. Once it comes loose, you can easily lose the whole thing later.

I'm using a glass bed. The bed temp is set at 55 degrees.
It's not too bad. What has printed is really nice. I thought I had reduced it to 1:32 from 1:24.
I've never had any luck with pausing a print and restarting.
I'll send a picture when it is finished.
        Bear it and grin.

Hope it holds up. Try a bed temp of 60 next time, and a light mist of hairspray.

Hope it holds up too Frank.
Chappy sure has his game down.

I’m running eSun, and a bit warmer, glass is at 64 or 65.
I put on two good passes of Aqua Net, the Ender already running and ‘homed’. I place the plate and clamps, select the file from the card and go. It starts warming the plate, It dries and is done so by the time it reaches temp. Never had one get loose.
        Hope the Chevron looks good!

I'll send a picture in the morning. It has been running for 9:33 hours now. The only thing left to print is the roof. Only the right front corner raised.
I've never used hair spray. Which one do you use? Hair spray is lacquer. It can't hurt the glass bed. I'll give it a try.
          Good night.

Here is my rendition of Vlad's Chevron. I printed it in white PLA so I could paint it easier.
Thoughts? The raft will be a bit of a job to clean up. This is my first slot car.
I still am trying to reduce it to 1:32. Back to the drawing board.
I said that to a kid the other day and had to explain what a drawing broad was.

Frank.....great looking print, looks like you have yourself a pretty 1/24 Chevron B16!

Nice print though....looks pretty clean on the inside.

This one is 61mm wide, which is somewhat over scale.
I have another one running that will be closer (57mm).

                        Hiya All,

Frank & Chappy - Great prints guys

I thought I had the body sorted scale wise, but once it goes into Cura, it can sometimes go crazy large or turned upside down etc.
Easy enough top bring it back to scale and orientation though.

Now, lets see what liveries are going to get done

                        Cheers
