Steve - without a doubt, one of the finest slot car collections ever. The fact that you made them - more so. Vlad's killer files and your building skills are a dynamite combination.

The fact that you are now able to enjoy them on your great track - well, I'm going to have to kick it in high gear! Right, who am I kidding.

I'll still be eating crayons over here in the corner if anyone needs me...

I'm a huge fan of the Shadow Can Am cars - kudos to you for creating that collection.

I have a Shadow DN4 from CG Slotcars and it was a must have to round out my Can Am roster. I changed the decals from the #1 - George Follmer to the #101 - Jackie Oliver.

Yeah......that's a wonderful representation of the Shadow evolution. All three (?) MkI versions.....the different MkIIs and the DN4s. Very nicely done!
And Dave....they are a blast to run on the track!

...the CanAm video was great....can we expect a Shadow takeover on that terrific layout of yours?

Very nice, love all of the versions of the shadow. I've always wanted to do the original prototype. Click image for larger version

I tried to make this version of the MK1......Shadow made several versions of the orange MK1 but I found this one to be rare and the most interesting.

I'm a huge fan of Can Am cars and of the Shadow cars. But, looking at this car you have to admit it's a death trap - nothing in front of or around the driver for protection.

The 50th anniversary of Shadow celebration is set for the end of July at Road America. The largest gathering of Shadow cars to ever happen - over 20 examples. There is a page on facebook showing the restoration of a few cars - including 2 MKi's (one using the outlawed air brake system....). Some really neat details in some of the pictures.....

Road America only has 8 Can Am cars registered so far (1 Shadow) Am trying to get a hold of the Shadow and Road America to see what is really going on.
A few of us are still up in the air as to go or not.
