Greetings All...
For those of you printing in PLA, what sort of adhesive do you use?
Per the Wikipedia article, it should be able to be solvent welded via Dichloromethane (DCM or methylene chloride) . I haven't purchased any of this, yet - I haven't found it for sale locally.
I read on a number of 3D printing groups that people have good luck solvent welding with MEK (ethyl ethyl ketone). I purchased two different brands of model cement with this as the major component, but had no luck with either.
I know a many people use CA ("superglue"), but am looking for alternatives.
Suggestions?
Thanks!
Bill W.
