Good video, good info. Down here in our club, we use a combo of lighter fluid first and then tape on the other heats for rubber tires. For urethane tires it's alcohol first and tape afterwards. For silicone tires it's alcohol every heat. And yeah we know about mixing tires up like that. Some nights it is 100% rubber, others a mix of rubber & silicone. I run urethane in place of silicone on a few of my oddball cars that I can't find silicone tires that fit. Here, rubber can be Slot It, NSR and a few OEM brands. Urethanes are Paul Gage and silicone tires are either Super Tires or Quick Slicks. Tracks are either Scalextric or Carrera.
