My Pioneer Legends Project and Invitation

Mailman came yesterday.....
Gonna' accept Harry's invitation & try to build a Legends car.
Always been a scratch builder, so I know almost nothing about "store bought" cars.
Thought I'd dive into the pond, since I bought my 7 yr. old grand boys a Scalextric Stock Car
race set for Christmas & I'll give one to each of 'em & watch the crashes.
I'll be happy enough just to get a paint job on one of these.
Hope it comes with assemblyinstructions.
I'll have to follow what Harry does on this one, otherwise I'll be lost in the woods.................................Brew

Good Video Harry,............and while I am sure that you and everyone else knows the following, I will mention it just in case.
When installing/gluing rear axle bushings in a plastic chassis, always, do it with the motor installed in the chassis...if you use screws to secure the motor, make sure they are installed and tightened before proceeding with bushing installation/gluing.
Most plastic chassis are relatively flimsy (particularly the rear end) and when the motor is snapped/screwed into place it often flexes the motor box a touch and distorts the rear uprights, and even a tiny tiny bit can cause bushing mis alignment, resulting in a less than free spinning axle........this is especially critical when using close tolerance bushings.
Cheers

Bravo to Car67! I always love any military theme livery. Reminiscent of a WWII fighter.
I have a Ford Legends kit I was keeping back while starting (but seemingly never finishing) other projects. Now I will have to get back to the kit.
Harry - you didn't answer if you knew any status on the HRW black version. Sounds like you don't know anything yet.
