Paint for Lexan interiors?

What's the process and type of paint to apply to the black lexan lightweight interiors?

The Tamiya paints are outstanding.
I have used the rustoleum for plastic too and it flexes like mad and doesn't let go. You probably don't have to but I wipe em with alcohol and let dry first and it works great..

Be sure to scuff the lexan before painting - scotch brite pad or something like it.

Depending on if you are just looking to detail paint, etc - I have had very good luck using water based acrylic paint from places like JoAnn Fabrics, Michael's, etc. (it is the same paint I use to paint my clear lexan bodies for use at the local commercial track) - those combined with a couple small detail brushes, tooth picks, etc and you can detail an interior up fairly nicely.

I second what Tusco Todd wrote. Being as it's an interior and won't get handled it doesn't need to be so durable and you can get a lot of detail with tiny brushes tooth-pics etc. I usually use the Tamiya X & X-F range.

I normally use regular Testors paint. Works fine and never chipped off.

Testors works just fine. No prep no nothing, just get right after it.

Yes, Testers works just fine. But, be sure in the colder weather that you don’t have static electrical build-up on the Lexan or the paint will, literally, be pulled off your brush.
