Looks like your building a great looking modified, which is an ideal use for this car. I grew up in a Ford family and we were very loyal, but considered this model of the T-Bird to be one of the ugliest cars ever made. After what the original T-Bird was, this car was like letting a 3 year old redraw the Mona Lisa with crayons. But without the bucktooth grille it will actually look so much better as a modified.

You're doing the car and everyone a favor by giving it a radical makeover. I'd have a hard time taking a torch or Dremel to a nice '40 Ford body, but a '60 T-Bird is begging to be dissected. Sad thing is, this model of T-Bird actually did very well sales wise compared to the earlier 2 seater because it had room for more passengers and now could be sold as a family car.

I'm looking forward to seeing your racing version, and already know it's going to be a big improvement even with broken crayons.

The only suggestions I would make are to reposition the headers backwards so they aren't as close to the front wheels, and apply some decals with more 'pop'.

The numbers on this Stan Lee tribute Mustang make it stand out in my opinion.

I really like the flames on the T-Bird, those are very Kool. Less is more on a build like that. But if you want to consider anything I have it's your's.
