  • FF-050 motor mount/axle mount?

Is there something available to mount a FF-050 motor in a build?
Google hints at some that were available at one time....

There are some 3D printed Slot It type pods for the FF Motor

Thank you, but I am looking for a metal bracket to solder to a chassis.

Hi Scott, The bracket in your picture was made by BWA, and unfortunately these are no longer available.

If you are looking for something similar, ABSlotsport sell a steel bracket for the FF050 motor,.........JK, and, RGeo both make some small brackets, but, these have hole patterns for FC-130/FK180 motors. That said the JK and Rgeo, brackets can fairly easily be drilled for the FF050 bolt pattern.

Dennis Samson (Gascarnut on this forum) does make brackets, and you may want to contact him.

If you are looking for a motor pod for the FF050, Scaleauto and MRSlotcar make them , so do a variety of the better known 3D outfits. The motor pods can be used in a "Hybrid" type chassis, using a plastic motor pod and a brass/wire mainframe.

    Cheers

I have used the 1/32-1/24 brackets and simply re drilled to fit a FF MOTOR.

As MT stated, easy to drill a JK motor bracket. If you have a dead FF050 laying around, cut off the end and use as a template.
