Hi Guys,
I thought I would show my 1970 Dodge Challenger driven by Sam Posey in the Trans-Am series. I built this car over 10 years ago & I believe was one of the first 1/25 cars I built when I switched over from 1/32. Over the many years Ive been messing around building cars, Ive changed the way I do things & generally gotten better at building. Last year I decided I wanted to build another one of these as this car was not up to the standard I wanted these days & as one of my favourite race cars I wanted to do it justice. Instead last month I ended up pulling the car out & updated a few things & it made a huge difference. I changed over the wheels & tires, Bare metal foiled around the windows, changed the front spoiler, added in headlight inserts, touched up the paint work in a few areas & generally just tidied up a few things. Here it is & ready for the next 10 years.
I actually like it now & looks much better than it used to. Sure its still not how I would build it now but Im happy with it. Few things like moving the gas filler to the back, not flaring out the guards were things I couldn't do without repainting the whole car. Ive now started building the sister car, #76 with a more accurate MPC body so it will be good to see it finished compared to this one.
This car is a Revell 1/25 body, MJK Chassis, Plaifit Fox2 motor, H&R wheels, The Parts Box Minilite resin inserts, my own cast urethane tires, Model Master Sublime Paint, Tamiya TS-13 Clear, Tamiya Flat black, Decals I designed myself & possibly Matt may have printed cant remember.

Thanks for looking
Greg
