  • SCX Seat Cupra GT - rechassied with my adjust-o-wheelbase

Built this adjust-o-wheelbase chassis but the intended body turned out to be too warped to be useful.

Checked my shelves for an alternate body, one that could accommodate a 65mm wide track. Came up up with one of my favorites, the SCX Seat Cupra GT

    Mocked the body on.

    Works for me.

Chassis needs some side pan trimming but will work. Will use the existing interior tray, a one piece carrying the grille, headlights, driver tray and rear engine detail.

    Body mounting next.

Have the same car, modified the OEM chassis to accept a Slot it sidewinder pod. Added a old teal bell Slot it motor, new gears and axles, Sloting Plus wheels, Ninco rubber up front, Paul Gage tires in the rear and it runs really smooth and quick. Really low center of gravity.

      Runs very nice.

Interior tray was not modified so can be returned to original with the factory chassis.
