  • Comstock Datsun!!!!

This is my take on a what if Comstock a Canadian company heavily involved in racing both in Canada and internationally in the 1960's with Ford's from big Galaxies to Cobra's and GT-40's. So what if Datsun teamed up with them much like Bre in the states.

The body is an ARII 1967 2000 Roadster on a PCS chassis, BWA motor, RSlot 13" wheels. Dart's inserts, driver figure, rollbar and side mirrors. The decals are a mix of my first attempt of printing my own and Bre 510 set, I used some clear packaging from a Sharpie pen for the cut down wind screen. The white with green was Canada's international racing colours. Sorry for the photo quality I don't have the lighting figured out.
    Hope you like it.

Thanks Chris I'd like to do the Cooper I have a couple of MRRC bodies but it looks like the Comstock car doesn't have the carb and exhaust stacks through the rear panel like the Shelby cars so it would be a bit of work.
Here a couple more views of the Datsun.

Looks great! I noticed the driver is Earl Ross - not sure if he ever turned right in a race but he was a terrific Late Model/Nascar driver!

I've got a few of those kits. Some day will get a few built.

Thanks for all the great feed back as for Earl on the door Bre used Bobby Allison at times in their cars so I went with that theme, I think Earl would have wheeled it pretty good,
