Had this battered Fly Porsche 917 - 10 with missing parts sitting around and thought this was an ideal candidate for a re-chassis build.

Stock chassis's a clamshell one, so cut off the sills and glued and reinforce epoxied to the upper body.

Cut and prepped parts for my usual adjust-o-wheelbase chassis to accept a 3D printed FF050 motor pod.

3/32" round brass tube - main rails and front axle supports
.062" piano wire - sliders for guide/front axle tongue
.064" x 3/4" brass strip - guide tongue and crossmembers
5/32" brass tube drilled out with 9/64" bit - guide post
Using the stock front plastic rims and turning down rears into inserts for aluminum rims.
Will be a runner for our club's Can Am class.
