The policar F1 is fast right out of the box. It's comes with an extra chassis. It's not hugely different. I didnt bother changing it and I think the extra chassis space on the digital chassis might help for those who like to put weight upfront. The front wing mounting isn't great but with magnets is good but not strong. (mine didn't come with the magnets so the ones I used might be the issue) That being said the wing doesn't come off while driving or in normal crashes. I still want to find a way to keep it more still. Right out of the box with no tuning or adjustments the car is fast. Not NSR fast but fast. It got faster as the tires ran-in getting down to a 4.5 on my track. NSRs F1s started around 4.3 but tires had to be glued and trued. I swapped tires just to see what a softer compound would do. I ran with NSRs supergrip 5221s (not glued) still fast not as fast as the tires slip side to side ran 4.7s. They aren't as wide as the stock tires but you can get them to look ok, if you care about look. I'm going to set the axels and run again. As well as glue the NSRs and see what happened.

All in all great car. Ran a 4.5 out of the box doing nothing but spreading the braids.

Ok, NSR 5221s mounted and glued. If you take your time in mounting they barely show the wheel and the contact pad is the same. The stock tires have a more rounded side and go to the edges of the wheels and to be honest they look better. The NSRs will slide side to side because the rib in the center of the wheel is too narrow for the NSR tires. It makes mounting troublesome but once your on it lets the combo function as an air wheel giving the tire some give and added traction in the turns. No trueing, the same as I did with the stock tires and as they ran in they are faster than the stock tires. Not by much but with their ability to soak up the tire oil and softer feel I think they will be much faster as they come in. They are evo tires I think they will finish graining and be the tire of choice for these cars. I haven't added weight but I think it will be faster when I do.

I'd recommend the car to anyone and already love running it even more than i did right out of the box, Buy, Run and Enjoy.

I will be getting one, first find some decals and then the right color car.

Love these cars, both NSR and Slot It did an amazing job with these generic F1 versions from different eras.

I can highly recommend Atalaya, they have designs specifically made to fit these models (as well as the NSR F1) and are excellent quality!

Who will be first to make a brass pan chassis for one of these?
