Wow, did Dave actually say "learn to drive the car"? Reminds me of students I knew who said they couldn't do (even simple) math but then they never did their homework either. Yes, cars could be made more drivable with slower motors and sets more user friendly with lower power options, but the value of rehearsing (practice) will never be lessened.
