We are writing to share some exciting news! Slot Car Corner will be migrating their online store to a new platform during the week of August 7th. The new online store has been in the works for almost a year and includes some exciting new features. Here is a brief summary:

• Responsive Design – In layman’s terms, this means our new store can be accessed from any device (PC, tablet, phone) regardless of screen size. The appearance of the store will be automatically optimized depending on the type of device you are using.
• Intelligent Filters – Our new store makes extensive use of intelligent filters to help you find the products you are looking for. Different filters are available for different types of products. Filters are intuitive and very easy to use.
• Streamlined Checkout - Payment details can now be securely saved for future use if desired.
• Multiple Ship-To Addresses - While only a small percentage of our customers require this, the new store now supports multiple shipping addresses.
• Shipping Options – Initially the new online store will provide U.S. Postal Service shipping options like our current store. However, once the migration to the new store is complete, we will start offering additional shipping options (e.g. UPS, Fedex).

Existing customer accounts (name, address, phone, etc.) will be migrated to the new store automatically; however, you will still need to activate your account. Existing customers will receive an email with a link to activate their account once the migration to the new store begins. Account activation is a one-time process whereby you enter your password. The password you enter can be the same password you use for the existing store or a new password if you prefer.

Please note we are unable to migrate customer order history – unfortunately it was too complex and cost prohibitive.

Finally, we would like to thank you for your continued business and support. We look forward to better serving you once our new website is fully operational.

The new SCC website is now operational. We have migrated customer account information from the old store to the new; however, we cannot migrate passwords (for your security, we don't have access to customer passwords in the old store or the new store). Over the next day or two, customers will receive an email with an activation link. Click on the link and you will be prompted to setup your password. You can use the same password you used for the old store or setup a new password if desired. Once you have activated your account, you're good to go!

If you're the impatient type and don't want to wait for the email you can follow these steps to activate your account:
1) Go to www.slotcarcorner.com
2) Click on "Log in" in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
3) In the "Login" section (NOT the "New Customers" section), enter your email address and then click "Forgot your password?"
4) You will receive an email with instructions to reset (or in this case, set) your password.
