That looks like a 1:32 Cox Ford GT in the outside lane, my favorite home slot car by far back in the 60's that also ran laps at a commercial raceway. Loved those mag wheels and fat rear tires. I only found the body when cleaning out the attic at my parent's house. Great memories.

Dido to ya memories from back in the day

slothead, the 1/32 Ford GT is just a scaled down 1/24 with the flat interior instead of the full cockpit of the big car. They are among the best replicas of real race cars from that era. Next week what I consider the best slot car/models ever produced. If I remember.

All that work!!! You must not be aware of the model kits you can buy of wide body Porsches...

Dingleberry, pay very close attention to the specific features of this model. If you find a ready to build model in 1/32 scale, please let us know. Tamiya made a 1/25 kit, but other than scratch builds or die cast, that's it. Most people overlook the shape of the rear fenders or the type of nose.

Monogram 1/24 Lotus 38. I think this is the best slot car model of the 60's.
The Monogram 1/24 scale Kurtis Midget, pretty much the equal of the Lotus. This was painted by Tom Miner of Phoenix.

As a big fan of the Pioneer Legend cars I have 15 of the RTR liveries so far and expect to be getting some more Christmas themed ones soon.
I have 2 of the bright green #44 Fords now that my Legend proxy car is back at home. The non proxy one needed to be renumbered so I can tell them apart and since all of the Christmas themed Legends have #25 on them they needed to be renumbered too.
Last year's Christmas themed Legends were renumbered #6 for the red one and #9 for the green one. Numbers were chosen based on maximum visibility given the base colors. Only the single digit decals would fit easily on the doors of these '34 Fords. The Santa interiors will be replaced with ones with drivers in racing suits and helmets I got from INASLOT.
The green Legend that was originally #44 got squares of green Monokote on the doors and then #4. All decals are from the Pioneer peel-n-stick decal sheets.
