Matt, that's pretty cool. Is there capability to reverse engineer a buck from existing bodies?
Lang Cooper and 2E are nice though.Come Race at The Trace!

Paul these bodies will be well detailed on the inside. Like all the 60's bodies the real detail is inside and probably filling with resin and cutting/removing the vac body would leave a nice detailed buck. I know how Gene makes thee bodies as I have supplied rubber plugs and a few plaster inner plugs. He takes a nice original body like Lancer or Pactra and pours silicone inside.
He then takes this inside plug with full detail and uses it to make an outer silicone mold. Uses the outer mold for a resin copy. Details the resin as needed and polishes it, then adds some small holes to get more pull in areas where it is needed. The results are great and the buck he uses is not based on the outside of a vac body, but on the inside which has much sharper detail.
The bodies I pictured are the Pactra Jupiter, Pactra Plymouth Hemi special and the 2 part mold he made for the Lancer 2E.Matt B
