Nice period helicopter - fits right in.

Maybe you should try a little HO motor or tiny phone vibrator motor to make the rotors spin?

I enjoy these niche videos on the hobby, thanks for putting them together.

An HO motor is a great idea! I just have to be sure not to have too much power going to it or it may actually take off!

I have it -

Mattel Vertibird from about 1971-1973.

This is what of your helicopter reminds.

Look it up - try 'Mattel Vertibird Toy Helicopter Review'.

Of course now well in the 21st century we have mini drones that look like just like helicopters that can be operated by phones, all smart and stabilized and able to fly in close quarters indoors.

But - I bet you could incorporate the spirit of the Mattel Vertibird using some of the modern drone micro motor gear and that piano wire tether setup.
