  • Wild Custom Torino

I stumbled across this IMO pretty impressive modified 1/32 Torino on a Youtube channel. I thought other people might like to see it. I've never built my own slot car but I would definitely be interested to hear from some vets how easy/hard it would be to swap 1/24 wheels onto a 1/32 chassis (with some cutting of course.) I have the Pikes Peak Torino so naturally I loved this build. It appears that its some car guys that built it an not necessarily slot car guys.

the paint came out excellent. Kudos to who painted it, top notch job.

why they used the stock chassis is a mystery, yeah it's modified but still lame.

Yeah that paint job its amazing. I agree about the chassis, I'm suprised it not more modified than that considering the about of work they put into it in terms of cutting and sectioning the interior. I love the big wheel "pro touring" mod look. I'd love to replicate that big wheel swap on one of my slot cars some day.

Pretty wild, great to see something imagined so well materialized, killer paint, runs well,
And it was for charity. Nothing lame about it...
