  • Latest Toys in the mail!

Let's start a little thread showing what you just had come in.

Just left Broomhilda at the local PO/City Hall/Feed Store. The literal slot car jewelry arrived for my Showdown projects AND perhaps the greatest release in many years...the DAVE KENNEDY Thunderbird!!! This might need a back up car. One for the shelf. Historic in it's own right!

Plus a "MYSTERY" Dum Dum! My favorites!

I have to agree that Tbird deserves a spot right beside the burger car

What can I say, I'm a creature of habit.

Thank you Scalextric and Dave Kennedy for fixing the wheels.

                Randy,
I see you have already changed it from a street rod to a racer.

New Carrera 935K3 courtesy Mark Twain Hobby and enough Paul Gage tires to keep me busy through the predicted colder-than-normal winter.

In anticipation of the Ford v Ferrari movie and my expectations that all related slot cars will zoom up in price, I pulled the trigger and bought the Scalextric C529 Goodwood Festival of Speed set from 2003 honoring the top 3 finishers in the 1966 Le Mans race. The cars are well done and weathered also. Debating whether to Race/Crash/Repair/Repeat or leave in the box.

Speaking of new toys in the mail. Could some one put me on to a dealer or two in the US that will have the new Pioneer Legends? My search so far is coming up with zero.
                    Thank you

Half Fast - race 'em, that's what they were made for. Let them run free and enjoy the wind flowing over them.

As for the Pioneer Legends - ordered both cars from Inaslot on Friday Nov. 22nd. They should be on the way this week and arrive first week of December.
