Like the project so far; should be a really great toy when finished!

Maybe I missed it in an earlier installment, but what wheel/tire combo are you running on this Porsche build?

Also, I found the military modeling figure detailing content very interesting. Maybe you could post a few up-close static detail shots here on the board, of painted figures that you feel were successful?

I think you have mentioned you offer some "garage/boutique/cottage industry" car kits or even RTRs. Is there a site for that or a list of what you may offer (cars, figures etc.)?

Thanks so much for watching and for your wonderful post!

The wheels are resin with a set screw that I molded and cast. They are kept on the axel by use of a grub screw.

The tires are also manufactured by me, they are moldings of Ninco classic tires cast in forty shore urethane.

I'm so pleased that you like the 'Fun With Figures' episode!

Here are some images of the finished figures we have created, molded and cast ourselves:

Great job on all of this stuff, real nice sensibility to the work, both on the era you choose to model, and the subjects and level of finish.

All evokes that model motoring vintage racing feel.

What do the ready-to-runs run? Are these the only two cars you offer? Do you sell any of the other bits of kit, like the wheels and tires, figures, etc.?

              Thanks so much!

These cars are ready to run and are the ones that we currently have in stock.

They are $75.00 USD plus shipping, and are brass chassis front motor rear drive.

Here are some images of the chassis:

The figures are available as well, unpainted, they are $2.00 USD each plus shipping.

The other car that is available, but currently sold out is the Jaguar XK-120:

Once you get your 356 on the road, I know a great little place to take it for Service....

Usually I build and collect 1/24, but I should try a 1/32 Porsche conversion, it is such a cool little object.

Could you provide the wheel tire set you are using in your model Kit conversion?

                      Absolutely!

The wheels are 'Task 2' resin scale '15 with the tires urethane Ninco classics.

If you are interested in a set, email me directly at:

Great video as always! And your finished cars look fantastic! And the figurines also look great! Something I have seen elsewhere to make the figurines look different, cut off their arms and legs (sounds gruesome!) and then re-attach them in a different position. That way they don't look the same. I will stay tuned for the next part of this project!

Why doesn't my car run like that?
