What year was this car made?

My grandson (6 years old) asked me how many years I have had this car.

Does any one know?

I've looked on line and can't find anything about a date of release, etc.

He asked as I was showing him some older cars from the 60's.

That was 2002.

Released for Christmas 2003. The next year The General did her tree layout using it.
