A few years ago, there was a company that bought the rights and reprinted a bunch (DVD), of car movies, Redline 7000, Fireball 500, Thunder Alley, Hot Rods to Hell, THUNDER ROAD!!!!, The Lively Set, plus all those Beach Bunny movies with fantastic cars (and not-so-sexy girls in swimsuits not nearly as sexy as we thought they were). I bought all of them I could afford, then the company flopped.
Thunder Road is a big deal for me since it was filmed near my home, and I knew those roads very well. I ate cheeseburgers in the restaurant in the movie, and my distant family knew the people who were the models for the characters. The old highways around Jackson, Memphis, and Dyersburg were where a lot of the non-mountain road scenes were filmed, the rest were all East Tennessee. So very very cool for a 15 year old to discover this a decade after the movie was on black and white TV.

Thanks so much! I'm so pleased that you all enjoyed the video!
Redline 7000 has some very cool cars in it, I'm still having fun pausing the movie at the "Holiday Inn" parking lot and trying to identify the cars parked there!
Thanks again!
