I had a street Carrera Corvette and wanted to build a SCCA car that might get entered into a proxy. So many cars to decide from, Lotus, Ferrari Corvette. So I thought I would build a few and then decide on mailing day which one goes
The Car was stripped of paint and the body mods done t turn this street corvette into a race track version This included flaring the fenders and cutting openings in the hood to allow the cooling fins to protrude
Based on a Roger Penske driven car with a BARC flavour
Laser printed decals
Scratch built inline Brass frame
Cox Mag Lotus wheels
Independent front wheels
FF50 motor
Cooling fins were re-purposed from PC CHIP cooling fins
Under the close up I see the clear coat has caused the red stripe to bleed so this will require a touch up.
Other car under consideration are Scratchbuilt Lotus 23C that I made from my own master, a Lotus 30, and maybe a Ferrari 250SWB
