I'm rebuilding a Monogram Grand Sport Corvette with an Olifer 3D chassis designed to take a Slot.It sidewinder motor pod.
The stock rear wheels on the Monogram measure 15.75 x 9.75 mm. The closest sized metal rear wheel I have found is the NSR 5015 which is stated to be 16 x 10 mm. I think this will work well with the Paul Gage urethanes I already have on the stock car.
The problem is that the Slot.It sidewinder motor pod comes outfitted with spherical bushings which are designed, naturally, to take Slot.It axles which have a very slightly larger diameter than NSR axles (2.38 as opposed to 2.37 mm).
My question is will an NSR axle fit inside a Slot.It bushing, or will that 1 hundredth of a mm difference allow for too much slop?
Appreciate your advice.
