I have seen people spend more on much less

Nice effort on a car most have forgotten.

As the saying goes - "Speed costs money - how fast do you want to spend?"

    Impressive effort though!

    99%chassis, 99%/body, 90%/interior.
    Car cost, $30
    Parts cost, approx. $70
Well worth it in my opinion for a great looking, great running car!

Here’s the breakdown of what has been done to the Scalextric Porsche RS Spyder, to get it competitive with other LMP’s that race here.
    1. Slot.it Orange end bell motor
    2. Slot.it axles(2)
    3. Slot.it axle stop
    4. Slot.it 26t Crown gear
    5. Slot.it 5.5 10t Pinion
    6. .005 axle spacers(5)
    7. CB Design CBD0010 15x8 wheels front
    8. CB Design CBD0020 15x11 wheels rear
    9. NSR 5202 ZG tires front
    10. QuickSlick CB47F tires rear
    11. SlotingPlus SP101001 Guide
    12. .01 Guide Spacer
    13. .016 sheet lead & Golf tape
    14. Removed interior tub, replaced with card interior.
    15. Replaced plastic bushings with Brass bushings
    16. CG Slot Guide adapter
    17. Slot.it CH53 Brass Screws(4)
    18. .05mm Silicone Washers on Body Posts
    Car Weight 87.9g

That’s it for the parts list. Car handles nicely. It is right there with some of the fastest LMP’s that race here. Now it’s up to the driver to make it perform at it’s highest level.

I have a Carrera one that I started but never finished. BNova guide adapter is already in it. It's still in pieces on my workbench.
